Repository CLAUDE.md rule 8 and brief §5.2/§6.1: original bugs are kept and recorded in re/known-bugs.toml (id, source, effect, original patch, fix). The file does not exist yet. Create it with its format documented, and the bugs already known from lessons.md / references that touch ported or soon-ported code.

Merged in PR #57: re/known-bugs.toml created, format documented in its header (id, routine, versions, source, effect, cause, original, fix, status); entries mosaic_end_clears_restore (UpdateMosaic) and bg_color_undec_carry (BGColorUnDec), both kept in v1.
